Meet Grizzly – The Gentle Giant

When Police4Pets was asked to take in Grizzly from the Lampasas shelter, we knew he needed a second chance. Shelter life was hard on him, and we weren’t sure what his temperament would be like. He seemed stressed, and we worried about how he might do in a home environment.

But the moment his foster family brought him home, we were in for the sweetest surprise—Grizzly is a true gentle giant! This big-hearted boy adores children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and would likely be fine with cats (we’re happy to arrange a cat test if you’d like to meet him).

Grizzly is house-trained, gentle, and respectful in the home. He doesn’t chew things up or cause trouble—but he’s not a fan of being locked in a wire kennel, and he’s clever enough to escape from one. He would thrive in a home where he’s not left outside alone for long periods, as he can scale a fence if he feels unsafe.
