Myla

Meet Myla – A Tender Soul Looking for Safety and Love
Myla’s story is one of loyalty, love, and quiet heartbreak. She was found curled up beside her owner, staying close and offering comfort during their final days. When her owner was taken to the hospital, Myla was left on her own. Eventually, she made her way outside and was picked up by animal control. When we learned her story, we knew she needed to be rescued and given the chance to feel safe again.

Myla has been in the shelter and then boarding for several months, and although she’s been patient and gentle throughout it all, what she truly needs is a home. She is around 5 years old, up to date on all of her vaccines, and will be spayed as soon as she is placed in foster care. She has shown no signs of aggression and has a very soft, sweet demeanor.

Myla is incredibly docile and loving. She isn’t demanding; she simply wants to be near someone who makes her feel safe. Because she has been without a real home for a long time now, we believe her personality will blossom beautifully once she has a calm, nurturing environment to settle into.

We are currently seeking a foster or adoptive home for Myla — somewhere gentle, patient, and kind. A place where she can rest, heal, and rediscover what it means to belong.

If you have room in your home and your heart for a dog who just wants to love and be loved, Myla may be the one. 💜🐾
